About Me

I am Edy Foster, a Remedial Massage and Myotherapist with a passion for promoting health and well-being.

Since August 2021, I have been operating Massage 4 Health ccs, providing my services at both Buchanan Family Chiropractic in Colac and The Little Shoe Shop and Pharmacy in Camperdown.

Residing on a dairy farm near Simpson with my husband and children, I actively participate in farm duties while balancing my career as a therapist.

The Journey

I embarked on my journey in the field of massage therapy in 2000, starting with Relaxation and Therapeutic Massage. Over the years, I continued my studies, earning qualifications such as Certificate of Muscular Skeletal Therapy, Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, Advanced Certificate of Muscular Skeletal Therapy, and Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. In 2004, I pursued a diploma in remedial massage before taking time off to have and care for my family. After a hiatus, I returned to the field, and through dedication and perseverance, I regained my confidence in treating clients effectively.

Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my knowledge and expertise. My most recent certifications include Certificate of Pregnancy Massage (Feb 2021), Certificate of Completion Postnatal Massage (July 2021), Chelsea Jean Lymphatics Alive (Feb 2022), and Certificate of Achievement for Foundation in Oncology Massage (March 2023).

As a remedial massage therapist, I have undergone extensive training in anatomy and physiology, enabling me to develop personalized treatment plans for each client. My techniques encompass deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and cupping therapy, all aimed at alleviating pain and promoting healing.
